Healthy Families BC

This summer was a bit of a roller coaster ride. The combination of work, travel, unexpected events, along with expected events, cumulated into a summer of me never being home long enough to think straight. I was contacted by Healthy Families BC months ago in regards to help raise awareness to healthy living. As you can see, I didn’t get around to this until now.

The Little Photo Shop: Wilf Schmidt - Kamloops, BC

If it wasn't for my love of film, the elusiveness in Kamloops for a roll of 120 and my stubbornness to fully embrace digital, I would have never met Wilf Schmidt. It was always the highlight of our afternoon, to stroll down Third Street and find your shop open.

Thank you Wilf, for generously sharing a bit of your tremendous knowledge with us. So glad to have known you.
How do we look from up there through your Holga?

Western Lake Chinese Seafood: Alaskan King Crab - Vancouver, BC

It’s that time of year again...Alaskan King Crab time! In preparation for this feast I ate only a small lunch this afternoon, and wore yoga pants to the restaurant for expandability.

Olympic 2010 Torch Event - Ashcroft, BC

This event happened quite a while back, however I hadn't gotten around to blogging about it. This was Day 100 of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Torch Relay. It was scheduled to come through the communities of Cache Creek and Ashcroft. Ashcroft had a little community get together in their downtown core.

It involved various entertainment throughout the day. They also provided snacks and that's what I'll comment on in this instalment of Love of Eating.
