Butterscotch Peanut Butter Marshmallow Squares a.k.a Butterscotch Confetti Squares Recipe

I’m feeling a little junk foodish today. These squares show up all the time during holidays and random potlucks. Recently, a co-worker of mine was chatting about this retro treat, and the conversation reminded me of the last time I ate these sweets at the Ashcroft Bakery and Coffee Shop.

Tim Tam Biscuits

Arnott’s Tim Tams are sweet chocolate cream biscuits that hail from Australia. The rectangular treats are far too sweet for me to eat straight, but they are perfect when eaten via "slam" with unsugared coffee. I buy them in Kamloops at London Drugs, and sometimes they can be found at Superstore too.

Nonya Kaya Coconut Jam

Nonya Kaya or coconut jam. Have you tried? Do you like?
I was picking up some specialty items in the Osaka Supermarket at Yaohan Centre a few weeks ago and I spied this on the shelf next to the coconut milk. Coconut Jam! I impulsively grab a jar and place it in my rolling basket. (Seriously, all supermarkets should have these rolling baskets. It's a hand-basket with an elongated handle with castors on the bottom. Freakin' genius, I say!)

Nonya Kaya Coconut Jam ($4.69 for a 400g jar)

Banana Faux Ice Cream - Recipe

I must share this recipe with you. It’s not really a “recipe” since it only has two base ingredients, and it’s not really mine. I got it from an acquaintance who is trying to eat healthier. I have no idea where this person got the idea from, but I'm going to guess somewhere online.

Popcorn With my Pro Popper

Why do people use microwave popcorn when making non microwave popcorn is so easy? I'm not a fan of hot air popped popcorn. The best I can explain it is that, it tastes "dry". Also, when using a hot air popper you're left with so many un-popped kernels. Not cool.
That's why I love my Pro Popper.
