Hi Anon,
Whoa, your experience is quite a bit different than mine! How unfortunate!
So far, I have only dined at Cuckoo's once. I've never had the opportunity to chat with the back of house, so I can't comment about the cooks. I don't get out to the island as much as I used to, so I can imagine it will be a while before I can check it out again. It is a beautiful space, no?

I hope your next eating adventure is more to your liking.
