I must give fair warning that there is a downside to the notebook method of info-getting. Once I was discreetly scribbling down info in an unnamed Kamloops business. Suddenly I was blocked into an aisle by the proprieter and her mother and then was ordered to reveal the contents of my notebook! Perhaps they thought I was a spy from the competition...
