Boom it’s June!
Quattro Bistro. Here’s another restaurant in which the location is familiar: it was formerly Felix on Fourth.

I feel like I just spent the entire morning in an appointment at the bank. Perhaps things seem to take longer when my stomach is rumbling. By the time I exit the financial institution it is well into the lunch hour.

As Kamloops begins to acquire a light dusting of icy precipitation, we head over to Papa Tee’s Pizzeria. The new pizza joint sits on the corner of 7th Avenue and Victoria Street (kitty corner to the Thompson Hotel that houses the Noble Pig and Crush restaurants.)

Chicken Noodle Soup ($5.25)

I roll into Kelowna late and hungry. I stop at the first Italian looking restaurant I see: Amerigo’s Nuraghe Italian Cuisine.

Sorriso Ristorante Pasta and Deli sits on an unassuming corner location on Tranquille Road on Kamloops north shore. I noticed this eatery some time ago when I was orientating myself to Kamloops. Since then, I’ve driven by numerous times on my way to the ”The Craziest Store in Town!” I felt like a deli sandwich today so I swung into the quiet, but ample, parking lot of Sorriso Ristorante.

**UPDATE January 2014: It pains me to type this, and share the sad news that Caffe Arianna is now closed. The location now houses Sikora Caffe.**

Finally Caffé Arianna in Kamloops. I can’t even begin to describe how long I’ve been trying to eat here. My schedule and Caffé Arianna’s opening hours just never jived. We barely made it here today.
