The folks at Erwin's Bakery and Delicatessen are the hard working scratch bakers behind the “baked goods stand” at the local Farmers Market. I never realized that they are located just downtown. Until now. I discovered their location while searching Kamloops for something entirely different (more on that some other time.)

Some time ago, in my post about The Press Box/ Zhen Zhen Restaurant, I had mentioned that prior to my meal I needed to pick up some cat food. Some of you were curious about what kind of food I feed my beast.

Ashcroft Bakery and Coffee Shop is located in downtown Ashcroft, BC. It's not officially winter yet, but slowly the chilly weather is creeping in. I love the dry-cold weather out here. I prefer it so much more than the cold-damp of the coast.

I am pretty excited upon entry as the show cases are much fuller than I imagined they would be.

In seven days summer will come to an official end. I love the summer season; that's when Farmer's markets, fruit and veggie stands are bursting with their bounty. It's a great time to be able to buy most of your basic fruits and vegetables locally.

I blogged about Anie's Pizza & Bakery previously here. She bakes these crazy good cinnamon buns; if you're there early in the day you can nab one. However, if you're too late for the ready to eat treats, Anie may have some take n' bake ones available for you to prepare at home. Yes, I was too late this day and here are my results from Anie's at home cinnamon buns. I can't recall what I paid for these but I remember they were cheap.

Why do people use microwave popcorn when making non microwave popcorn is so easy? I'm not a fan of hot air popped popcorn. The best I can explain it is that, it tastes "dry". Also, when using a hot air popper you're left with so many un-popped kernels. Not cool.
That's why I love my Pro Popper.

I know many people already love Liberté yogurts, and there have already been many blog entries on other sites about it, but I just thought I'd add one more. Partly because since moving from the coast I have been trying to find it out here. I found it at Nature's Fare Market in Kamloops. Thanks god!
For yogurt lovers this is a must try. I believe when yogurts are young they must dream of growing up to be Liberté Méditerranée.
